Description

The Chevrolet Motor Company was formed in 1911. The Corvette, Americas first sports car, was introduced in 1953, the fourth generation C4 Corvette was built from 1984 to 1996, a more sleek modern looking car with a new glass hatchback. Available in Coupe and the Convertible was reintroduced in 1986 1985; Tunnel Port Fuel Injection introduced. Wheels caps and slots black 1986; high mount stoplight and Convertible reintroduced. Wheels just slots were black 1987; identical to 86, but wheels, caps and slots now argent 1988; new larger 17in 'Cruisinart' wheels, white, black roof 35th anniversary model available. 1989; optional removable hardtop for convertible. 1990; 375hp ZR-1 option introduced, different rear fenders to accommodate large rear tires. 1991; facelift, wrap around parking lights, wider body mould and horizontal front-fender strakes replaced vertical gills.
