Русский: Посвящённый космическим исследованиям почтовый блок России, выпущенный 12 апреля 1999 года, с изображениями орбитальной станции «Мир» (слева) и проекта Международной космической станции (справа, на марке), а также проекта К. Э. Циолковского обитаемой космической станции (в правом верхнем углу), восхода Солнца каким он выглядит на борту космического корабля и цитатой К. Э. Циолковского «Человечество не останется вечно на земле, но в погоне за светом и пространством сначала робко проникнет за пределы атмосферы, а затем завоюет себе все околосолнечное пространство» (со слов Б. Воробьева, который цитирует письмо к нему Циолковского в следующей статье: Воробьев Б. Воздухоплавание в наше время // Современный мир. — 1912. — № 7. — С. 260.) Художник блока — В.
