1E2A67 Roman? head
Description
English: Roman? copper alloy cast head, 31mm high and 24mm wide. The head is in good condition and it has a dark green patina. It is probably part of a steelyard weight and the top of the head has a small circular mark which may be the remains of a loop. The head is depicting a bearded man with a broad nose and lentoid eyes wearing some sort of skull cap or head band . He may be a dipiction of a greek?
