Description
Deutsch: 17.03.2002 01909 Schmiedefeld: Michaeliskirche (GMP: 51.086810,14.069740): Die Vorgängerkirche wurde bei den Gefechten am 12. Mai 1813 zwischen napoleonischen und russischen Truppen zerstört. 1816 begann der Bau der neuen Kirche, die am 12. Oktober 1818 als evangelisch-lutherische St.-Michaelis-Kirche geweiht wurde. Die Saalkirche ist mit einer zweigeschossigen Empore ausgestattet. Der bis dahin sehr schlichte Innenraum der Kirche wurde 1889 umgestaltet. Der dreigliedrige Kirchturm hat eine Welsche Haube.
