Description
Deutsch: 23.09.2006 09526 Olbernhau, Gerbergasse 10: Das Tivoli (GMP: 50.661698,13.337546), Theater, Konzert- und Ballhaus. 1851 hatte der Rot- und Lohgerbermeister Johann Dietrich die Realschankgerechtigkeit für sein Grundstück, heute Gerbergasse 10, in Anspruch genommen. Die Namensgebung "Tivoli" stammt vom Gastwirt Otto Richard Petzoldt, der seinem Gasthaus am 15.10.1894 diesen Namen verlieh. Am 14. 07.1903 übernahm Moritz Forkert als 8. Wirt das Tivoli. In der Nacht vom 18. zum 19. 03.1906 ist das alte Tivoli abgebrannt. Baumeister Gustav Neubert hat danach das Tivoli nach seinen Entwürfen in nur 9 Monaten wieder aufgebaut. Schon am 25.12.1906 wurde das "Theater- Konzert- und Ballhaus Tivoli" wieder eröffnet. Nach der grundhaften Renovierung von 1925 unter dem neuen Betreiber Paul Lischke wird das Tivoli am 31.12.1925 wieder eröffnet. 1977/78 renoviert.
