Deutsch: 18.10.2006 04895 Martinskirchen, Hauptstraße 56: Barockschloß (GMP: 51.473055,13.203584). Um 1560 entsteht aus ehemaligem Landbesitz des aufgelösten Klosters Mühlberg das Rittergut Martinskirchen. Der ältere Bruder des kursächsischen Premierminister, Friedrich Wilhelm von Brühl, kaufte 1739 das Rittergut. Auf ihn geht das herrliche Barockschloß zurück, das 1754-1756 auf dem rechten Elbufer nach Plänen des Dresdner Architekten Friedrich August Krubsacius erbaut wurde. Da Martinskirchen 1815 an das Königreich Preußen fiel, nannte man ihn auch den "preußischen Hof". Der letzte Besitzer des Ritterguts war Hauptmann Ernst Brendel, der 1945 aus Martinskirchen floh. Im Schloß brachte man Wohnungen für Vertriebene aus den deutschen Ostgebieten unter. Es folgte in der DDR-Zeit eine Berufsschule mit Internat, die in den siebziger Jahren geschlossen wurde. Seitdem bemüht sich die Gemeinde Martinskirchen, eine sinnvolle Nutzung für das Barockschloss zu finden, was bislang noch nicht gelungen ist. Sicht von Nordwesten.
