Deutsch: 24.06.2007 01067 Dresden-Altstadt: Blick von Südwesten zum "Haus am Zwinger". Die Wohn- u. Geschäftshauszeile Sophienstraße / Ecke Kleine Brüdergasse (GMP: 51.051505,13.735011) wird auch als Advanta-Riegel bezeichnet. Das Restaurant Busmann erinnert an die Busmannkapelle der 1963 an dieser Stelle abgebochenen Ruine der Sophienkirche. Die Pläne für des 1999 eröffnete Gebäude erstellte der österreichische Architekt Heinz Tesar. Schon mehrfach hat das "Haus am Zwinger" den Eigentümer gewechselt. Mehrfach wurden auch Pläne für dessen Nutzung verkündet, die doch nicht umgesetzt wurden. Unter anderem wollte die Radeberger Brauerei ein über mehrere Etagen großes Restaurant eröffnen. Ebenso gab es zuletzt Pläne, das Gebäude als Hotel zu nutzen. Nach den 18 Millionen Euro teuren Umbauarbeiten sollten so 290 Zimmer entstehen. Doch Probleme bei der Finanzierung ließen das Projekt platzen. Richtig warm geworden sind die Dresdner nie mit dem Haus neben dem Taschenbergpalais. [DSCN28281.TIF]20070624035DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
