Description
Deutsch: 23.09.2007 01127 Dresden-Leipziger Vorstadt: Blick aus der Leipziger Straße in die Moritzburger Straße 13, erbaut um 1890 (GMP: 51.073399,13.725005), 15, (erbaut um 1900), 17... Mietshäuser in geschlossener Bebauung. Historisch ist hier der Dresdner Stadtteil "Neudorf". Verschwunden sind heute fast alle Häuschen der kleinen Siedlung, welche sich einst entlang der heutigen Moritzburger Straße zog. Die Geschichte von Neudorf begann am 15.03.1546, als der sächsische Herzog Moritz eine Verfügung zur Umsiedlung von 29 Familien aus Altendresden - der heutigen Neustadt - erließ. Grund war der Ausbau der rechtselbischen Stadtbefestigung. Als Entschädigung erhielten die Betroffenen Flächen in der Nähe des Bischofsweges sowie die Nutzungsrechte am Neudorfer Werder, einer ehemaligen Elbinsel am Südende der Moritzburger Straße. Innerhalb weniger Jahre entstand ein Straßendorf mit kleinen bäuerlichen Anwesen. Nach Eröffnung der Eisenbahnstrecke nach Leipzig siedelten sich ab 1840 auf Neudorfer Flur verschiedene Industriebetriebe an. 1866 wurde die Gemeinde Neudorf mit der Stadt Dresden als Vorstadt Neudorf eingemeindet. Auf Beschluss des Stadtrates vom 29.10.1874 erhielt das Gebiet offiziell die Bezeichnung Leipziger Vorstadt und wurde so wieder Teil der Dresdner Neustadt. Bereits um 1880 mussten die ersten Gebäude an der Moritzburger Straße mehrgeschossigen Mietshäusern weichen. [DSCN30012.TIF]20070923290DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
