Description
English: Report on post-medieval silver bell. Small bell in the form of a thistle head, made from engraved silver sheet; clapper inside, small loop for suspension. Two small holes in vertical alignment on body. The bell does not correspond with recorded hawking bell types, which are simple round bells in copper alloy, or with bells worn as fashionable accessories in late medieval dress.
