Description
Deutsch: 17.02.2008 01157 Dresden-Cotta, Altcotta: Gaststätte "Frosch", jetzt Partykneipe "Jedermann´s", Raimundstraße 1 / Ecke Lübecker Straße GMP: 51.056797,13.687770). Der historische Gasthof Cotta, sog. "Frosch", wurde um 1860 erbaut. In der Raimundstraße stand das Filmtheater West. Direkt neben dem Kino befand sich das Wirtshaus "Zum Frosch", das seit 1862 Schankrecht besaß. Anfang der 1980er Jahre war Jürgen Greve der Gaststätten-Inhaber. "Von der witzigen Miniaturfroschexposition die der rührige Wirt in einer Glasvitrine versammelt hatte, schwärmte regelmäßig die Lokalpresse". Nachdem das Gebäudeensemble aus Gasthof und Kino nach langem Leerstand 2002 abgerissen wurde, entstand an dieser Stelle ein Neubaukomplex mit gastronomischen Einrichtungen, Einzelhandel und Supermarkt (Aldi), der sich an das historische Vorbild anlehnt. Cotta (Kottow, Cottowe, Kottaw) wird bereits aus Anlass des Verkaufes dreier Hufen in einer Urkunde vom 27. Februar 1328 und in mehreren Urkunden aus dem 15. Jahrhundert erwähnt.
