Description
Deutsch: 24.02.2008 01689 Weinböhla, Wilhelm-Wiesner-Straße: Friedensturm (GMP: 51.165235,13.593028). Erbaut 1903 nach Anregung von Wilhelm Wiesner als Bismarckwarte. Bauausführung durch Kannegießer. Die Einweihung war am 30.08.1903. Ab 1945 hieß der Ausssichtspunkt "Hoher Turm" auch zeitweilig "Turm der Jugend". Nach der Sanierung erhielt der Turm bei der Wiedereinweihung am 07.07.1956 den Namen "Friedensturm". [DSCN31647.TIF]20080224360DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
