Description
Deutsch: 05.04.2008 01067 Dresden-Friedrichstadt: Alberthafen, Magdeburger Straße 58. Der Alberthafen Dresden-Friedrichstadt ist der bedeutendste Hafen Dresdens. Er wurde zwischen 1891 und 1895 erbaut und liegt im Dresdner Ostragehege. Hier der Blick über das Hafenfengelände zur Hafenmühle (1914), Waltherstraße 2 (GMP: 51.062659,13.711579). 1912 entschloss sich die Familie Bienert zum Bau eines der damals größten und modernsten Mühlenbetriebe Deutschlands. Die Pläne fertigten die Architekten William Lossow und Max Kühne. Das Gebäude ist ein frühes Zeugnis modernen Stahlbetonbaus. Unter dem Dach des 65 m hohen Turms befindet sich ein großer Wasserspeicher. Ab 1992 wurde der gesamte Gebäudekomplex saniert. [DSCN32102.TIF]20080405015DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
