Description
Deutsch: 03.05.2008 02633 Semmichau (Göda), Semmichau 2: Herrenhaus (GMP: 51.172233,14.306595). Schon im Mittelalter ist hier ein Rittersitz bezeugt. Das Rittergut war an wechselnde Adelsfamilien verlehnt und gehörte von 1560 bis 1712 als Vorwerk zum Rittergut Großhänchen. 1861 kaufte Oskar von Zenker das kleine Gut. Das anfangs nur zweistöckige Herrenhaus wurde nach 1861 für Oskar von Zenker erbaut. Bei einem Umbau um 1900 wurde das zweite Obergeschoss samt Dach und Giebeln aufgesetzt. Bis zur Bodenreform 1945 besaß es Karl Georg Leuthold. In der DDR diente es als Wohnhaus. Außerdem waren hier Klassenzimmer der landwirtschaftlichen Berufsschule Birkau untergebracht. 2003 erwarb ein Privatmann das Herrenhaus. Ansicht von Nordosten.
