Description
Deutsch: 13.08.2008 01097 Dresden: Bahnhof Dresden-Neustadt (GMP: 51.065811,13.740567), Schlesischer Platz. 1847 erbaut als Schlesischer Bahnhof, später umbenannt in Neustädter Bahnhof. Das unter der Leitung von Otto Peters und Osmar Dürichen größtenteils aus Sandstein errichtete Empfangsgebäude wird von der Empfangshalle dominiert. Die Bahnsteighalle ist 146 Meter lang, 70,5 Meter breit und 19,3 Meter hoch. Sie beherbergt vier Bahnsteige mit je zwei Bahnsteiggleisen (mit 1 bis 8 bezeichnet). Die mittleren vier Gleise werden von einer 35,24 Meter breiten Bogenhalle überspannt. Auf beiden Seiten der Bogenhalle schließt ein Pultdach über jeweils einem Bahnsteig mit zwei Gleisen an.
