Description
Deutsch: 04.10.2008 01796 Pirna: Sandstein-Trinkbrunnen / Viehtränke von 1780 auf der Südostseite (GMP: 50.962170,13.942329) des Marktplatzes. An den 4 Ecken des Marktplatzes "Am Markt" befanden sich 4 Trinkbrunnen/Vietränken. Drei davon sind noch vorhanden. Der Brunnen an der NW-Seite fehlt heute. Es handelt sich um stattliche Sandsteinbassins mit einem Wassereinlauf. Diese Art Brunnen gibt es noch an weiteren Stellen in Pirna. Sie sind Zeugen der langen Tradition der Gewinnung und Bearbeitung von Sandstein in dieser Region. Im Hintergrund das Rathaus. [DSCN34531.TIF]20081004212DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
