Deutsch: 26.10.2008 01156 Dresden-Brabschütz: Dorfplatz Brabschütz 10 (GMP: 51.069837,13.620641). Dreiseithof mit Wohnstallhaus (bezeichnet 1790, Torbogen). Der slawische Rundling Brabschütz entstand wahrscheinlich bereits im 11. oder 12. Jahrhundert und wurde 1349/1350 im Lehnsbuch Friedrichs des Strengen erstmals erwähnt. Brabschütz hat sich durch den erhaltenen Ortskern seinen ursprünglichen dörflichen Charakter bewahrt. Am Dorfplatz stehen heute mehrere alte Bauerngüter, die sogar Inschriften tragen. Die Häuser sind zum Teil denkmalgeschützt und stammen in ihrer heutigen Form oftmals aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Der Name Brabschütz taucht erstmals im Jahr 1791 auf, wird aber erst ungewöhnlich spät am 8. August 1905 verbindlich festgeschrieben. Brabschütz war mit einer Blockgewannflur ausgestattet und ein Lehen der Familie von Podemiz. Später übte das Gauernitzer Rittergut die Lehnsherrschaft aus. Die Landwirtschaft war die hauptsächliche Erwerbsquelle. Infolge der Bodenreform schlossen sie sich nach 1945 zu einer LPG zusammen. Die Gemeinde Brabschütz schloss sich am 1. März 1994 Mobschatz an und kam mit diesem am 1. Januar 1999 zur Landeshauptstadt Dresden.
