Description
Deutsch: 03.05.2009 04688 Mutzschen (Grimma), Marktplatz 18: Stadtkirche (GMP: 51.260770,12.887134). Die 1250 begonnene Stadtkirche Mutzschens wurde 1490 durch eine Stiftung von Heinrich von Starschedel zum Kloster des Marien-Serviten-Ordens umgebaut. Die Klostergebäude wurden an die Kirche angebaut, ein Kreuzgang führte vom neuen Nordportal am Turm um den Klosterhof. Aus dieser Zeit ist das Portal von 1490 am Westgiebel erhalten (im Bild). Seit der Reformation evangelische Stadtkirche. Zerstörung durch Stadtbrände 1637 und 1681. Neuaufbau mit Emporen. Umbauten im 18 und 19. Jh. [DSCN37257.TIF]20090503735DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
