Description
Deutsch: 14.04.2010 04703 Leisnig, Kirchplatz: Stadtkirche St. Matthäi (GMP: 51.161661,12.926516). Von der Vorgängerkirche blieb nichts erhalten. Die heutige spätgotische Hallenkirche mit

Kreuznetzgewölbe wurde von 1460 bis 1484 unter Mitwirkung des Meisters Ulrich Halbbutter

erbaut. Nach Brand wieder hergestellt 1638, umgebaut 1882. Die barocke Kanzel wurde um 1700 für die 1906 abgebrochene Stadtkirche Hainichen geschaffen und kam erst 1962 nach Leisnig. [DSCN41055.TIF]20100414065DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
