Description
Deutsch: 22.04.2010 04703 Leisnig, Gartenstraße 16: Katholische Kirche St. Johannes Bosco (GMP: 51.153470,12.930119). Die römisch-katholischen Christen aus Leisnig und Umgebung feiern ihre Gottesdienste in einer kleinen Kirche am Stadtrand, die als solche aber nicht zu erkennen ist. Das Gotteshaus hat weder einen Kirchturm noch Glocken. Es verbirgt sich hinter einem Gebäude, das wie ein normales Wohnhaus aussieht und von der Straße zurückgesetzt, in einem Gartengelände steht. Das Bauwerk wurde 1953 bis 1956 nicht als Kirche, sondern als Pfarr- und Gemeindehaus errichtet. Die eigentliche Kirche sollte auf dem Vorplatz errichtet werden, ist aber nie zur Ausführung gelangt.
