Description
English: Post Medieval silver cufflink element, formed of a silver circular disc with downturned rim. There is pressed decoration of two hearts with a crown above. The reverse has the remains of a soldered silver loop. The disc is distorted with damage to the rim, with approximately missing. There is a further fracture running around a quarter of the surviving rim. In its current condition, it measures 16.07mm in diameter, 3.88mm deep with the metal being 0.81mm thick. It weighs 0.60grams.

Post Medieval - late 17th Century to early 18th Century.

The object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal and is over 300 years old. Consequently it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 in terms of both age and precious metal content.
