Description
Deutsch: 15.04.2011 04758 Limbach (Oschatz): Evangelische Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.263611,51.263611). Die Limbacher Kirche wurde um 1460 errichtet. Der flachgedeckte Raum wurde 1822 mit Gestühl und Emporen ausgestattet. Auf der Nordseite stehen Kanzel und Beichtstuhl, beides Einbauten von 1727. Die Kanzel wurde unter Verwendung von älteren Bildtafeln errichtet. So treten am Kanzelkorb unter der grauen Bemalung die übermalten Darstellungen einer Muttergottes mit dem Jesuskind sowie von Petrus und Paulus hervor. Om Kirchenbezirk Leisnig-Oschatz sind in mehreren Gotteshäusern lutherische Beichtstühle erhalten geblieben. Die Beichtstube der Limbacher Kirche steht vor dem Kanzelaufgang und enthält zwei Sitze. Auf den liturgischen Gebrauch weisen die zwei Brüstungsbilder hin. Links ist die Strafrede des Propheten Nathan an König David abgebildet, rechts sieht man Petrus mit Hahn unter dem Auge Gottes. Die Inschriften und Bilder fordern auf, begangene Sünden zu bekennen, und erinnern daran, dass Gott alle Untaten sieht. [DSCNn2157.TIF]20110415110DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
