2012 T554: Post-Medieval gold ring
Description
English: Post-Medieval gold posy ring. Gold band of D-shaped section, plain exterior, inscribed inside KEPE FAITH TIL DEATH. There is no maker's mark but the use of capital letters suggests a date of 16th -17th century.

The same message, written as 'Keepe Faith till Death' is found on a gold posy ring the collection of the British Museum, 1961.1202.102, which was donated by Dame Joan Evans.
