Description
Deutsch: 13.08.2013 01309 Dresden-Johannstadt: 11-geschossiger Wohnblock Gerokstraße 5-11 (GMP: 51.053724,13.760245) mit 172 Wohnungen. Der Abriss hat begonnen, in den Medien "Rückbau" genannt. Grundlage ist der Beschluss des Dresdner Stadtrates von 2002, bis zum Jahre 2010 siebentausend Wohnungen abzureißen. Die Bundesregierung beschloss 2001 das mit 2,5 Milliarden Euro dotierte Programm "Stadtumbau Ost", das den Abriss von 350 000 Wohnungen vorsah. Am 17. Juni 2009 hat der Bundestag - neben den 350 000 Wohnungen, deren Abriß bis 2009 geplant war - nochmals die Vernichtung weiterer 200 000 bis 250 000 Wohnungen beschlossen. Für diese Abrisse waren weitere 1,5 Milliarden Euro eingeplant, also zusammen 4 Milliarden Euro für die Zerstörung von Wohnraum im Osten. Das Ergebnis ist die Mietpreisexplosion.
