| Description |
The VF Commodore was built from May 2013-2017. The VF was an evolution of the VE, it featured new styling at the front and rear, with a more modern, sculpted appearance. Changes include altered headlights and tail lamps and the use of a lip-spoiler instead of a rear wing on the performance models. Models available were; Evoke, SV6, SS, SS-V, Calais, Calais-V Also Statesman and Caprice, little changed from VE HSV also built performance sedans for Holden, available were; Clubsport, Clubsport R8 in sedan or wagon, GTS, Senator and Grange. Also Maloo R8 ute. The Clubsport was the entry level car at HSV, it still got the 6.2 V8, body kit, vertical front fender grilles, 20 inch alloys and quad exhaust. The Clubsport got the 317kw 6.2, the R8 more power, 325kw and the R8 SV, 340kw. The GTS got the supercharged version producing 430kw. The GTS also has larger brakes and a larger rear spoiler than the ClubSport. At the time of its release, the GTS was the most powerful car ever produced in Australia |
