Description

Deutsch: 08.05.2015 15938 Golßen, Friedensstraße 8: Schloß Golßen (GMP: 51.974715,13.598841), im Mittelteil ein 1723 von Johann Just Vieth erbauter zweistöckiger Putzbau, zu dem ein Landschaftspark mit seltenen Baumarten und einem künstlich angelegten Teich gehören. Über verschiedene Besitzer gelangte das Gut schließlich 1846 an die Grafen zu Solms-Baruth. Die Parkanlage wurde um 1838-1840 vom neuen Besitzer des Schlosses Heinrich Ludwig zu Solms-Baruth in seiner heutigen Form angelegt. Der 1852 nach den Plänen von Eduard Knoblauch angebaute Flügel geht ebenfalls auf Friedrich Heinrich Ludwig zu Solms zurück. Im Inneren weist das Schloß Züge des Barock und des Klassizismus auf. Letzter Eigentümer bis zum Sommer 1944 war Friedrich Fürst zu Solms-Baruth (1886-1951). Nach 1945 wurde das Gut im Zuge der Bodenreform enteignet, eigentlich formell schon durch das NS-Regime. In der DDR-Zeit wurde das Schloß gemeinnützig genutzt. Hier war eine Kindertagesstätte. Ebenfalls beheimatete das Schloß die Bibliothek und das Gartenbauamt sowie ein Ambulatorium.
