A row of colonial storefronts in disrepair. Under construction in the background is the Lotus Tower which will top out at 350m/1,148ft to make it the tallest structure in South Asia. Financing has come from China. The tower will have an antenna for telecommunications services and an observation deck for tourists among other features.
