A dolmen (Bulgarian: Dolmeni; German: Hünengrab/Hünenbett; Afrikaans & Dutch: hunebed) is a type of single-chamber megalithic tomb. These burial structures were used by many cultures throughout the Neolithic period (4000–3000 BC).
