Description
Deutsch: 18.07.2016 09619 Sayda: Herrenhaus Schloßweg 4. 1289 wird erstmals eine Burg Sayda erwähnt, auf deren Grundmauern 1584 ein Vorwerk entstand. Ab 1747 hielt sich ein Vitzthumisches Kürassierregiment in Sayda auf. Rittmeister Vitzthum von Eckstädt besaß das Schloß in Sayda mehrere Jahrzehnte. 1877 brannte das alte Vorwerk ab und man erbaute ein neues Gebäude gegenüber dem alten, so wie es der heutige Zustand zeigt. Wappen u. Inschrift (vorher am alten Gebäude angebracht) über dem Portal erinnern an J. E. Vitzthum von Eckstädt und seine Frau M. E. Vitzthum von Eckstädt geb. Hahn. Bis 1951 diente dann dieses Gebäude dem Gesundheitswesen und heute als Wohnhaus. [SAM7017.JPG]20160718400DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
