Description
English: Ancient Roman monument (viergodensteen or "four deities stone") representing reliefs of the gods Jupiter (with a globe), Fortuna (with horn of plenty), Apollo (with raven and lyre) and Hercules (with a club - depicted here on the right), dating from 200-225 AD and found in 1903 at the entrance of the Basilica of Our Lady. Collection of Centre Céramique, Maastricht, the Netherlands. Photographed in 2017 in De Annex, a window display in a public café on Plein 1992 in Maastricht.
