Description
English: Detail of a tympanum in the south wing of the Kruisherenklooster in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The Gothic Monastery of the Crutched Friars dates from the 15th century and in 2005 was converted into a luxury hotel, the Kruisherenhotel. The tympanum shows the red-white cross of the Canons Regular of the Order of the Holy Cross (Ordo Sanctae Crucis) or "Crutched Friars".
