Description
English: View of the gardens of the Canisianum at Tongersestraat in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The Canisianum is a former Jesuit monastery and theological faculty, rebuilt in the late 1930s, abandoned by the Jesuits in 1967, and in use by the University of Maastricht since 1974. This section of the gardens is laid out on top of the cavalier Tongerse Kat, at the inside angle of the Second Medieval City Wall of Maastricht.
