Description
English: 06.04.2018 093626 Klostergeringswalde (Geringswalde): Herrenhaus Klostergeringswalde, Waldheimer Weg 6 (GMP: 51.073948,12.918655). Hermann II. von Schönburg stiftete 1233 in Geringswalde ein Benediktinerinnenkloster. Nach der Reformation wurde es wieder aufgelöst.

Über ein kurfürstliches Kammergut entstand daraus ab 1625 das Rittergut Klostergeringswalde mit durchweg bürgerlichen Besitzern bis 1945. Von Kloster und Rittergut ist nur das abgebildete Wohnhaus übrig geblieben. 2000 wurde es vom Eigentümer saniert. Südseite.
