Description
Deutsch: 17.05.2019 01069 Dresden-Südvorstadt: Universelle Werke. Blick von Nordwesten auf den Büro- und Industriebaukomplexes Zwickauer Str. 46 (GMP: 51.040481,13.715706). Die 1898 von Ingenieur Otto Bergsträßer gegründeten "Universellen Werke" an der Zwickauer Straße haben ein gutes Stück Industriegeschichte Dresdens mitgeschrieben. Eine erstaunlich breit gefächerte Produktpalette wurde hier hergestellt. Zigarettenmaschinen, Mischmaschinen bis zu Motorrädern sind nur eine Auswahl. Kurz nach der Wende, als Büro- und Gewerberäume noch knapp waren, gab es hier eine bunt gemischte Nutzung, die aber bald ausdünnte und in Leerstand überging. Seit 2017 wurde umfangreich umgebaut. Nach der Sanierung ist ein Innovationszentrum für Startups, Forschung und Technologieunternehmen entstanden. [SAM0672.JPG]20190517100DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
