[edit]| Description | 从2008年担任深水埗区议员至今，刘佩玉已为深水埗民众服务十余载，这里的每一条街道，每一家店铺对她来说，早已熟稔于心。在她看来，作为基本法规定之下的“地区服务咨询架构”，区议会的主要职能就是做好民生工作，而区议员的使命就是为民纾困，让百姓安居乐业。近年来，越来越多不符合标准的区议员通过选举制度漏洞进入区议会当中，不仅越权讨论大量非社区政治议题，而且对本应放在首位的民生工作置若罔闻。 |
