Deutsch: 18.03.2023 01189 Dresden-Coschütz, Kohlenstraße 23: Blick nach Süden zum Wasserwerk Coschütz (GMP: 13.739506,13.739506). Das Rohwasser bezieht das Wasserwerk Coschütz aus dem Talsperrensystem Klingenberg/Lehnmühle. Der tägliche Trinkwasserbedarf der Stadt Dresden beträgt im Jahresdurchschnitt mit Industrieanteil ca. 100.000 Kubikmeter. Davon werden vom Wasserwerk Coschütz als größtes Wasserwerk in Sachsen zwischen 60 und 70 Prozent geliefert. Mit einer maximalen Tageskapazität von bis zu 120.000 Kubikmetern bereitet das Wasserwerk Talsperrenwasser zu Trinkwasser auf. Das Rohwasser kommt über ein ca. 19 Kilometer langes Überleitungssystem aus bergmännischen Stollen (traditionell auch als Stolln bezeichnet) zwischen 1,9 und 2,5 Metern im Durchmesser und Rohrleitungen mit 1 bis 1,2 Metern Durchmesser zum Wasserwerk.
