Description
Deutsch: 11.03.2024 01156 Dresden-Altfranken, Otto-Harzer-Straße 2: Neubau/Nachbau des Luckner-Schlosses (GMP: 51.033750,13.647330) im Lucknerpark. Das historische Altfrankener Luckner-Schloss (GMP: 51.034567,13.64784 ) entstand 1850-52 für Graf Johann Heinrich Wilhelm von Leckren. 1841 kaufte Amalie Freifrau von Watzdorf, die spätere Ehefrau von Graf Heinrich Luckner, das Rittergut Altfranken. Der im englischen Tudorstil gestaltete Bau wurde im August 1939 abgerissen. Erhalten blieb der Lucknerpark, den heute die Autobahn A 17 in einem Tunnel unterquert. 2021 wurde mit dem Neubau (im Bild) begonnen, ein Hotel mit 43 Zimmern und Suiten. Es greift die typische Formensprache des abgerissenen Altbaues wieder in modern versachlichter Form wieder auf. Äußerlich erinnert es sehr stark an das Schloss, das einst hier gestanden hat. Mit seinen Türmen und Zinnen wurde es dem neogotischen Tudorstil zugeordnet - damals ein Grund, warum es von den Nationalsozialisten abgerissen wurde. Der markante Aussichtsturm soll auch für interessierte Bürger offen stehen. Details wie die achteckige Form und die Fahne an der Spitze sind eine Reminiszenz an die Historie. Der Blick wird weit über den Park und die Stadt Dresden hinausreichen - bei schönem Wetter bis in die Sächsische und Böhmische Schweiz.
