Description
English: Cast copper alloy spur buckle with integral plate, length 46mm, width 18mm, thickness 2mm weight 4.69g. Oval buckle. The plate is a long thin rectangle 35mm long 8mm wide, with a hook terminal, there is a hole at the base of the buckle for the pin and two rivet hole on the plate. These types of buckles are found from excavations in London and have been dated to 1250-1450.
