Description
English: The structure of the yeast 26S proteasome based on the PDB-entry 5MPB, showing the 20S core particle (barrel-shaped structure, bottom) in association with a 19S regulatory particle (shades of red, top). Each protein subunit is individually colored. Spacefill-model generated with the NGL 3D viewer at rscb.org (original structure was obtained by Wehmer et al. 2017, PNAS, PMID:28115689).
