2807 Medieval Lead ampulla
Description
English: Lead ampulla length 55mm, width 32mm, thickness 10mm, weight 52.76g. The flasks chamber is circular, on one side is a crowned letter R and on the other is a six petalled flower enclosed within a circle. Around the outside of both decorative motifs are hatched lines. The neck is complete and pinched shut at the aperture, the angular suspension lugs on either side are complete although misshapen. Date 1350-1540
