Title
2809 Retouched triangular arrowhead
Description
English: Retouched triangular arrowhead length 31m, width 21mm, thickness 5mm, weight 3.57g. Two arises on the dorsal suggesting blade removal, the bulb of percussion is missing from the ventral, there is a creamy patina on both the ventral and dorsal sides. The edges have been retouched with alternating flake removal, this retouch has removed the patina exposing brown flint. The flint may be a waste flake that dates to the Mesolithic/Neolithic and picked up and formed into an arrowhead in the Early Bronze Age.
