Title
324 Awl top.JPG
Description
English: Awl
Late Bronze Age
Length 73mm, width 7mm, height 7mm

Half of the length of the artefact is made up of a rectangular shaft, the terminal of which is slightly rounded. The centre is expanded before narrowing down into point. The pointed half has a sub-hexagonal cross-section, the point is rounded, but this is because it has suffered slightly from bronze corrosion.

Dark brown patina. The surface is occasionally pitted, there are the traces of bronze corrosion in a small number of the pits. The artefact still has most of its original surface intact.
