Description
English: A North American P-51 Mustang of the 15th AF seems to nestle under the protecting wing of a 15th AF Flying Fortress at the Italian base of a Boeing B-17 Group, but immediately prior to this photograph the fighter plane had aided in escorting the bomber in a mission to the Piatra rail bridge in Romania.
