Español: La Plaza San Martín, delimitada por las calles 1° Junta, 9 de Julio, Tucumán y 1° de Mayo. A la derecha: el monumento ecuestre a San Martín. En el centro, de pie, el autor de la fotografía, Augusto Lustch. En el fondo, el demolido edificio que fue sede del Consejo General de Educación. Actualmente en su lugar se erige la Escuela Sarmiento, Santa Fe, 1903. Autor: Augusto Lustch. Colección Clementino Paredes, AGPSF-Archivo Intermedio. Fototeca. Transcripción epígrafe C. Paredes: "1903. Plaza San Martín con la estatua del héroe en el centro de la plaza. El Señor que está de pie es el fotógrafo D. Augusto Lutsch. En el fondo el edificio de la escuela normal. La piedra fundamental de este edificio, se colocó el 9 de julio de 1892. Este edificio ha sido ocupado por la Escuela Normal, Intervención Nacional 1911 y 1912, gobierno de D. Ignacio Crespo y Consejo General de Educación". |
