6424A1 medieval lead weight
Description
English: Medieval lead alloy weight, 35mm long, 30mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in good condition with a grey patina and weighs 49.75 grams. The weight is triangular in form and has an even thickness. It has a small circular suspension hole in the apex of the triangle. One surface is decorated with a raised design which may be foliate? It has a central ovoid motif which rises from a narrow shaft and is flanked by two leaf shaped side protrusions.
