Description
English: A copper alloy hooked clasp or dress hook. A single sharp-hooked clasp. The plate has a symmetrical, curvilinear outline with an intergral rectangular attachment loop projecting from it. The edges of the plate have several, circular openwork piercings, with the centre and lower part of the plate being solid with moulded decoration of a chevron flaked by annuletas. The chevron points downwards towards the backward projecting hook. The hook is D-sectioned and tapers to a point. The back of the plate is flat and undecorated. A Read Class E, similar to lozenge (type 4) and heart (type 7) types.
