Description |
English: Six awls, average size length 22mm, width 17mm, thickness 6mm. Half have one arise on the dorsal, one has two and the last two have multiple flaking scars, all have a soft hammered bulb of percussion on the ventral. All have point that have been knapped on one edge, this consists of semi-abrupt, direct, parallel flaking scars that create a point, one has bifacial retouch. Three have a creamy patina, one has a brown patina, one a grey patina and the last is a brown flint with a creamy patina forming, three have about 30% cortex. These artefacts date to the Bronze Age.
