English: This image is flopped (horizontally reversed, or “mirrored”).
  • The SW tower (with the slopes) should be on the left, and the minaret tower on the right.
  • The true orientation can be seen in this photo and this photo. Based on those photos, it appears that the photographer was standing on the terrace above the glacis‎ outside the Old City, SW of the citadel.
Original text: Old Jerusalem, the Tower of David, the fortifications and the slippery wall are photographed from the south in 1967.
