Title
ACANTHUS FROM BROOCH
Description
English: Copper alloy fragment in the form of an acanthus with a circular shaft above and below. The face of the shaft above has a worn moulded celtic design. The acanthus design is very similar to the types found on the bow of trumpet brooches, and it is likely that this is what to what it belonged. A less likely possibility is that it is from a bracelet.
