English: US Ambassador Reeker joined the Macedonian Army Chief of Staff, General Miroslav Stojanovski, U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Wiliam Brown, and other guests for a briefing and tour of the ongoing logistic military workshop of the Adriatic Group countries, LOGEX 09. The event took place at Straso Pindžur Military Barracks near Skopje. After the tour, Ambassador Reeker gave a statement to the media, in which he recognized the Macedonian Army for its contribution to NATO-led peacekeeping missions and emphasized that Macedonia is a loyal ally. He also underscored the continuing U.S. support for Macedonia’s membership in NATO. |
