Description

Apollo 11 Hasselblad image from film magazine 40/S - EVA. Aldrin collecting Lunar drive tube 10005.
This photo was used in Figure 1-34 in the Apollo 11 Preliminary Science Report (NASA SP-214), 1969, which has the following caption:

The astronaut is collecting a core-tube sample for later study by scientists. The SWC experiment is still deployed. (NASA AS11-40-5964)

This photo was also used in Figure 4-29 in the Apollo 11 Preliminary Science Report, which has the following caption:

Astronaut driving core tube near the deployed SWC experiment.
